Attorney Albert Purola of Willoughby, OH; cheating loser

The state of Ohio presented Albert Linden Purola with a law license in 1970 after he graduated from Cleveland State University School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Al guilty of engaging in the following conduct.

  • Collected a clearly excessive fee (cheater)
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to maintain a record for each client on whose behalf funds
  • Failed to perform and retain monthly reconciliation of his office trust account client ledger
  • Withdrew funds from client trust accounts prior to earning said fees
  • Upon withdrawal of representation, Al failed to refund promptly any part of an advance fee paid to him that he had not earned
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  • Al did not earn the full $12,500 flat fee he received from a client

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Al by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. March 2022), Al practices his so-called brand of law at 38298 Ridge Road in Willoughby, Ohio.
