Attorney Carlton Dobozin of Buffalo, NY; ethical leprechaun

 
The state of New York presented Carlton H. Dobozin with a law license in 1962 after he graduated from SUNY Buffalo.
 
The Grievance Committee of the 8th Judicial District found Carlton guilty of the following misconduct in regard to three clients (victims).
  1. Engaging in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  2. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on his fitness to practice law
  3. Failed to take steps to avoid foreseeable prejudice to clients when he withdrew from representation
  4. Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
  5. Intentionally failed to carry out a contract of employment
  6. Failed to promptly return client files after he was discharged
  7. Failed to promptly return unearned fees to client
  8. Failed to respond to client inquires about status of case
As a consequence of his misconduct, the unabashed supporters of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the 8th Judicial District punished Carlton by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
 
The comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee had the chutzpah to give credit to Carlton in mitigation because he expressed remorse. In other words, these buffoons were impressed when Carlton said “I’m sorry.”
 
As we speak (ca. June 2012) Carlton practices law at 71 Niagara Street in Buffalo, New York.
