Attorney John M. Brown of Pleasanton, CA; liar, repeat offender 
The state of California provided John Michael Brown with a law license in 1960 after he graduated from UC Hastings Law School in San Francisco.
The California Bar Court found John guilty of the following misconduct.
John was hired by a client to handle the client’s mother’s wrongful death and medical malpractice action. Brown failed to prosecute the lawsuit during the four and a half years after he filed it. He didn’t’ file a request to set a trial date, despite his promises to his client that he would do so. He also failed to have his client son a release to obtain medical records from the hospital.
As a result of John’s egregious incompetence, the trial court dismissed his client’s lawsuit. Ruling that John had not exercised due diligence to expedite the case, and that he had done very little work.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Calfiornia Bar Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.
This wasn’t Johnny’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. The Bar Court gifted Johnny with the following punishment.
As we speak (ca. June 2012) John practices law at 5510 Sunol Blvd. in Pleasanton, Calfiornia, which is about 40 miles east of San Francisco.
