Judge Matthew Antush of Spokane, WA; scofflaw, lifetime porker

The state of Washington presented Matthew Antush with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Gonzaga University

School of Law.

The Washington Commission on Judicial Conduct found Matty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

It should be noted that Matty has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past thirty (30) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Spokane area was about to offer him a good paying job.

The Judicial Commission found Matty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Improperly made comments during jury trial that were critical of the prosecution’s case
• Made comments to two court employees after a hearing, not realizing he was broadcasting over a YouTube connection that was left running after the hearing concluded
• Failed to avoid the appearance of impropriety
• Failed to act in a manner promoting public confidence in the judiciary

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington State Supreme Court punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Matty continues to dispense his so-called brand of jurisprudence as a Spokane Municipal Court judge in Spokane, Washington.
