Judge Eric Norris of Athens, GA; ethical troll

The state of Georgia provided Eric Wayne Norris with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Regent University School of Law.

The Georgia Judicial Qualifications Commission found Eric guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act in a manner promoting public confidence in the judiciary
• Failed to be patient, dignified, and courteous to litigants, jurors, witnesses, lawyers, and others with whom he dealt with in his official capacity
• Engaged in willful misconduct in office
• Conduct brought his judicial office into disrepute
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Berated bondsman Owens’ educational background to his own, noting that all Owens had done was go to high school and then work

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Eric by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2022), Eric continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as Chief Judge for the Western Judicial Circuit in Athens, Georgia.
