Attorney Paul Burgess of Ontario, CAN; slacker, loser

The Law Society of Upper Canada presentedPaul Dominic Helsby Burgess with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Ottawa School of Law.

The Hearing Committee for the Law Society of Ontario found Paulie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in professional misconduct
• Failed to report having been charged with five indictable offences
• Incapacitated by virtue of a substance use disorder
• All five criminal offenses involved driving and related to alcohol and opioid overuse

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Hearing Committee punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary 1-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2022), Paulie practices his so-called brand of law with Paul D.H. Burgess PA at 97 Bridge Street East in Campbellford, Ontario, Canada.
