Judge Paul Foley of Emory, TX; ethical troll

The Texas State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Judge Foley guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Improperly lent the prestige of his judicial office to advance his and/or someone else’s private interests
  • Failed to be courteous, patient and dignified when dealing with litigants and others appearing before him
  • Conveyed the impression that
  • Became upset at Commerce Middle School teacher Amanda White because she refused to tell him where a horse bequeathed to her aunt Jana Titsworth was being kept
  • After Ms. White refused to discuss the matter, Paulie told her he would find the horse and let it be picked up by Ms. Titsworth

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. March 2022), Paulie continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Justice of the Peace for Precinct 1, Place 1 in Emory, Rains County, Texas., Texas.
