Former Judge R. Joseph Hammill of Brunswick, GA; imbecile

The state of Georgia provided R. Joseph Hammill with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from the John Marshall School of Law in Atlanta.

The Georgia Judicial Qualifications Commission found Joey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was the Chief Magistrate Judge R. Joseph Hammill of the Glynn County Judicial Circuit.

• Acted in manner detrimental to the judiciary
• Demonstrated legal incompetence in his judicial capacity (imbecile)
• Disregarded the law as applied to his own conduct (scofflaw)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Georgia Supreme Court ordered that Joey be immediately and permanently removed from the bench.

As we speak (ca. March 2022), it is rumored that Joey has applied for a job as a greeter at the Walmart Supercenter Store located at 150 Altama Connector in Brunswick, Georgia.
