Judge Julie McDonald of Pontiac, MI; ethical gremlin

The State of Michigan presented Julie McDonald with a law license in 1995 after she graduated from the University of Detroit School of Law.

The State of Michigan Commission Judicial Tenure Commission found Julie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Arrested for driving under the influence (DUI)
• Resolved DUI matter by pleading guilty to disorderly conduct
• Failed to establish, maintain, enforce, and personally observe high standards of conduct
• Engaged in conduct eroding public confidence in the judiciary
• Engaged in impropriety and the appearance of impropriety
• Failed to respect and observe the law
• Failed to conduct herself at all times in manner enhancing public’s confidence in the integrity of the judiciary

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Julie by gifting her with a 45-day suspension from the bench without pay.

As we speak (ca. March 2022), Julie continues to dispense her so-called idea of jurisprudence as a 6^th Circuit Court Judge in Pontiac, Michigan.
