Judge Kathryn Nelson of Ft. Pierce, FL; celebrated lush 
The state of Florida presented Kathryn Maxine Nelson with a law license in 1984.
The Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission found Judge Nelson guilty of the following misconduct.
At 5:45 am in late October 2011, Vero Beach Police Office Doyle observed Kathy the Lush:
When Officer Doyle approached Kathy, she lied that the reason for the crash was due to her talking on her cell phone which caused her to los control of her car. Doyle knew she was lying because he could smell alcohol on her breath, noticed her eyes were glassy and bloodshot, and her clothing was in disarray.
Kathy was no drunk she couldn’t explain to Officer Doyle where she had been or where she was going. However, she was able to identify herself as a judge from St. Lucie County to Doyle.
When asked, she refused to exit her vehicle and refused to perform field sobriety exercises. When she was taken to the Indian River County Jail, she refused to submit to a blood alcohol test with a breathalyzer.
As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Kathy the Lush by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. June 2012) Kathryn continues to sit as a judge in St. Lucie County; however only when she is sober.
It must be comforting to Floridians to know that Judge Nelson is yet another confirmed drunk sitting on the bench in Florida compliments of the comedians sitting on the Florida Supreme Court.
