Attorney Matthew Ungarino of Metairie, LA; ethical troll

The state of Louisiana presented Matthew John Ungarino with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Matty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with candor in dealing with tribunal
  • Failed to treat opposing counsel fairly
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, misrepresentation, or dishonesty
  • Engaged in improper ex parte (one-sided) communications with a District Court law clerk
  • Made misrepresentations to a tribunal (Up yours, said Matty!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary 45-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2022) Matty practices his so-called brand of law at Two Lakeway Center 3850 N Causeway Blvd in Metairie, Louisiana.
