Attorney Nancy Sussman of San Diego; ethical gremlin

The state of California presented Nancy Sussman with a law license in 1983 after she graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Law.

The State Bar Court found Nancy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to maintain respect to the court (Up yours, said Nancy!)
  • Made numerous false statements of fact impugning honesty, motivation, integrity, and/or competence of Judge Gregory Pollack, San Diego Superior Court
  • Stated on her website, www.michaelsussmanlaw.com and in verified lawsuit that Judge Kenneth So, San Diego County Superior Court, ordered the murder of her son, Michael Sussman, when she knew that said statements were patently false
  • Intentionally committed dishonest and corrupt acts because of her gross negligence
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Nancy!)
  • Failed to update her attorney membership address with State Bar

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Nancy by gifting her with a complimentary 3-year suspension of her law license effective February 12, 2022.

As we speak (ca. February 2022), Nancy will resume her so-called brand of law at 5823 Lomond Drive in San Diego, California in late January 2025.
