Retired Judge Jerome Lipsmeyer of Morrilton, AR; ethical misfit

The State of Arkansas presented Jerome Dale Lipsmeyer with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law.

The Arkansas Judicial Discipline and Disability Commission found Dale guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as a Conway County District Court judge in Morrilton, Arkansas.

  • Engaged in improper campaigning for judicial office
  • Improperly solicited or accepted campaign contributions other than through a campaign committee
  • During his campaign, Dale violated the Code of Judicial Conduct when he sent a signed letter to attorneys, and asked for contributions to help offset campaign expenses

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arkansas Judicial Discipline & Disability Commission punished Jerry by gifting him with a complimentary informal adjustment.

As we speak (ca. February 2020), Dale practices his so-called brand of law at222 East Railroad Avenue in Morrilton, Arkansas.
