Attorney Richard Corriveau of Northville, MI; ethical misfit

The state of Michigan presented Richard J. Corriveau with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Detroit School of Law.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel found Dick guilty of engaging in the following misconduct

  • Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest
  • Represented father in domestic relations matter while also representing the son in a juvenile delinquency case

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Michigan Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed costs of $853.25.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Dick fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.corriveaulaw.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2022), Dick practices his so-called brand of law with Richard J. Corriveau Law PC at 324 East Main Street in Northville, Michigan.
