Attorney Stephen Compan of Las Vegas, NV; ethical dwarf

The state of Nevada presented Stephan Compan with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Law.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Stevie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Failed to act fairly in dealings with opposing counsel/party
  • Failed to decline or terminate representation when required to so act
  • Engaged in conduct in violation of a duty owed as a professional and causes injury or potential injury to a client, the public, or the legal system

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license and assessed costs of $2,500.00.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Stevie.

As we speak (ca. January 2022), Preston practices his so-called brand of law with the Preston Rezaee Law Firm at 1290 South Jones 630 South 3rd Street in Las Vegas, Nevada.
