Attorney Mark Sostarich of Elkhorn, WI; convicted felon The state of Wisconsin presented Mark E. Sostarich with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.
Mark pleaded guilty to the same felony counts of thievery that his partner in crime, attorney Gary George did. Because Attorney Felons are held to a lower standard of conduct then other Wisconsinites, Mark was sentenced to three years probation and 150 days home confinement. He was also ordered to reimburse the Police Athletic League $42,649.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Felons sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with an 18-month suspension of his law license. After his suspension ended, these same buffoons (my apologies to buffoons) granted Mark the Felon’s application to have his law license reinstated.
As we speak (June 2012) Mark practices law with the Law Office of Mark E. Sostarich at 6 South Church Street in Elkhorn, Wisconsin which is about 46 miles southwest of Milwaukee.
On his self-serving website at www.sostarichlaw.com, Mark makes no mention of the fact that he’s a convicted felon. I suppose if he did it would tend to limit his future victim pool.
