Attorney Gavin Brown of Alpharetta, NC; repeat offender

 

The state of North Carolina presented Gavin A. Brown with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

 

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Gavin guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Gavin’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Neglected client legal matter
  • Failed to communicate with his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Gavin by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

 

Gavin’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Misconduct motivated by dishonest or selfish motive
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonesty, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Gavin's intent to commit acts where the harm or potential harm was foreseeable
  • Circumstances reflected Gavin’s lack of honesty, trustworthiness, or integrity
  • Conduct had negative impact on public’s perception of the legal profession
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Gavin by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. January 2022), Gavin practices his so-called brand of law at 4810 Hampton’s Court Drive in Alpharetta, North Carolina.
