Attorney Thomas Corcovelos of Manhattan Beach, CA; ethical misfit

The state of California provided Thomas Christopher Corcovelos with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of California Berkeley School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Tommy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Tommy’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to pay mandatory annual attorney registration fee

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

Tommy’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to promptly release a client’s file upon termination
• Failed to obtain a former client’s written consent as to a conflict

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year term of probation.

As we speak (ca. January 2022), Tommy practices his so-called brand of law with the Corcovelos Law Group at 1001 6^th Street in Manhattan Beach, California.
