Attorney Jason McLellan of Kingsport, TN; thief, repeat offender

The state of Tennessee provided presented Jason R. McLellan with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from Appalachian University School of Law.

FYI: This isn’t Jason’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Jason guilty of the following misconduct.

• Misappropriated (stole) client funds for his own personal use
• Poses a threat of substantial harm to the public
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Jason!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Jason by gifting him a temporary suspension of is law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2021), it is rumored that Jason has applied for a job as a greeter at the Walmart Supercenter Store at 3200 Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport, Tennessee.
