Attorney James Kent Jr. of Altavista, VA; slacker

The state of Virginia presented James Paul Kent Jr.  with a law license in 1964 after he graduated from the College of William & Mary School of Law.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to perform monthly reconciliations of client trust accounts

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2022), Jimmy practices his so-called brand of law in Altavista, Virginia.
