Judge Mark Johnson of Hardy AR; ethical troll

The state of Arkansas provided Mark R. Johnson with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

The Arkansas Judicial Commission found Mark guilty of the following misconduct while he was a Blytheville Municipal Court judge.

  • Abdicated his judicial responsibilities
  • In a criminal matter Mark facilitated attorneys in allowing parties to use of Writ of Coram Nobis to improperly invest subject-matter jurisdiction
  • Failed to maintain integrity of the judiciary
  • Gave the appearance of abandoning his judicial role

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. May 2023), Mark practices his so-called brand of jurisprudence as a District Court judge in Hardy, Arkansas.
