Solicitor Richard Thomas of New South Wales; lying loser

The Law Society presented Richard James Thomas with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Dalhousie University School of Law.

The Queensland Civil and Administrative found Dick guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in unsatisfactory Professional Conduct
• Made statements that misrepresented the true position as to the rights of his client with respect to relevant AVO orders
• Engaged in communications with a protected person knowing that such communication breached the relevant AVO orders
• Obtained an unfair advantage for his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Queensland Bar punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2021), Dick practices his brand of law at 39 East Esplanade in Manly, New South Wales.
