Attorney William Lester of Tasmania; ethical dwarf

The Law Society of Tasmania provided William Frederick Lester with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Tasmania School of Law.

The Legal Profession Board of Tasmania found Billy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in unsatisfactory professional misconduct
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Failed act on their client’s lawful and reasonable instructions
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Legal Profession Board punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary admonition and assessed investigative costs of $11,103.13.

As we speak (ca. August 2021), Billy practices his so-called brand of law at 109 Cameron Street in Launceston, Tasmania.
