Judge Edward Guido of Carlisle, PA; cheerleader for disgraced judge

The state of Pennsylvania provided Edward E. Guido with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the Dickinson School of Law.

FYI: Eddie has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for at least forty-two (42) since graduating from law school. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Harrisburg area was about to offer Eddie a good paying job.

Former fellow Judge Thomas Placey resigned after being charged with multiple counts of misconduct. Facts setting forth Judge Placey’s deplorable conduct can be found by visiting the URL at the end of this article.

There is no dispute that Judge Placey was a bully who found it acceptable to deny litigants their constitution “due process” rights. Apparently, Judge Placey was under the impression that “due process” is how the grass becomes moist in the a.m.

Despite Judge Placey’s deplorable conduct, Eddie felt compelled to come to his defense by spewing forth the following comments during an interview with PennLive.com.

• “I’m going to miss him.”
• “He was a valued colleague and a close personal friend.”

I can assure that the victims of Judge Placey and the overburdened taxpayers of Cumberland County are not going to “miss him.”

It seems to me as though Judge Guido missed his calling as a Standup Comedian.

As we speak (ca. August 2021), Eddie continues to practice his so-called brand of jurisprudence as a Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas Judge in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
