Attorney James Morton of Ontario, CAN; convicted criminal

The Law Society of Upper Canada provided James Cooper Morton with a license in 1998 after he graduated from the Queens University School of Law.

The Upper Canada Law Society Disciplinary Committee found Jimmy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct unbecoming a licensee
  • Committed forgery by making a false document in a divorce order
  • In the Niagara Region did unlawfully while married go through a form of marriage to another woman in violation of the Canada Criminal Code

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the enablers for Attorney Misconduct sitting on the Law Society Disciplinary Board punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2021), Jimmy practices his so-called brand of law in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
