Utah Gov. Spencer Cox (R): Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield Comic Award” Winner

In an effort to establish his bona fides as an Aspiring Standup Comedian, Spence decided to perform a comedy routine while addressing a drought that several Western states including Utah are suffering from.

Towards that end, Spence made the following asinine and laughable statements to the good folks in Utah that he allegedly represents.

  • “By praying collaboratively and collectively, asking God or whatever higher power you believe in for more rain, we may be able to escape the deadliest aspects of the continuing drought.”
  • “I’ve already asked all Utahans to conserve water by avoiding long showers, fixing leaky faucets, and planting water-wise landscapes. But I fear those efforts alone won’t be enough to protect us.”

Maybe Spence should ask our Former Great Leader Donald “Small Hands Donnie” for a little help. When Small Hands Donnie was running for president in 2016 he promised Californians if elected he would be able to resolve the drought conditions in California and other Western states.

Maybe Spence could perform a Rain Dance with his fellow Comrade Small Hands Donnie. And if neither of them is experience in performing a Rain Dance, I’d suggest that they contact the Mascot for the Cleveland Indians.

As we speak (ca. July 2021), Spence continues to be an embarrassment to most Utahans while he whiles away his time honing his Comedic Skills.
