Barrister Keith Yardy of England; convicted drunk

The Law Society presented Keith Stuart Yardy with a Barristers license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of Bristol School of Law.

The Bar Standards Board found Keith guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Behaved in a way which was likely to diminish the trust and confidence which the public places in him or in the profession
  • Engaged in unprofessional conduct
  • Convicted of driving under the influence (DUI)
  • Prohibited from obtaining a driver’s license for 18 months

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Barrister Misfits sitting on the Bar Standards Board punished Keith by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and a fine of £500 ($644.00).

As we speak (ca.  June 2021), Keith practices his brand of law with the Maidstone Chambers at 51 Earl Street, Maidstone, Kent, United Kingdom.
