The state of Ohio presented Gary with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Catholic University of America Law School
The Cuyahoga County Bar Association’s Grievance Committee found Gary guilty of the following misconduct.
This wasn’t Gary’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. Jeffrey was previously convicted of a felony for assisting a client in transactions funded by the client’s sales of illicit drugs. During the disciplinary proceeding Jeffrey admitted that he acted with “reckless disregard” for the truth as to the true source of the illicit drug funds. As a consequence of his felony conviction, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Supreme Court in 2000 punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary six-month suspension of his law license.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Jeffrey by gifting him with a complimentary six-month stayed suspension of his law license. Put simply, Gary didn’t receive any punishment at all.
As we speak (ca. May 2012) Gary practices law with the Housing Advocates, Inc. at 3655 Prospect Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio.
It appears as though no self-respecting law firm in the greater Cleveland area was about to offer Gary a good paying job, thereby forcing him to accept a low paying job with the Housing Advocates. Hopefully they’re not paying Gary more than $20 an hour.
