Attorney Kenneth Smith of Newton, IA; ethical elf

The state of Iowa provided Kenneth J. Smith with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Drake University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Jason guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Violated several trust account regulations

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Kenny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Kenny practices his brand of law with the Updegraff & Smith at 101 First Avenue West in Newton, Iowa.
