Attorney Jonathan Sears of Ankeny, IA; domestic abuser

The state of Iowa provided Jonathan Lee Sears with a law license in 2017 after he graduated from Drake University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Michelle guilty of engaging in the following misconduct

• Found guilty of driving under the influence (DUI)
• Convicted of domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury
• Convicted of several instances of violating a no-contact order
• Engaged in criminal conduct adversely reflecting on his fitness to practice law
• Knowingly and intentionally disobeyed an order of a tribunal

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
