Attorney Gerald Gubatan of Philippines; deadbeat loser

The Philippine Supreme Court provided Gerald Z. Gubatan with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Law.

The Committee on Bar Discipline found Gerry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Deliberately failed to pay just debts he owed
  • Abused the trust and confidence reposed in him by his client
  • Failed to uphold the integrity and dignity of the legal profession
  • Unduly borrowed money and refused to pay same
  • Repeatedly borrowed money from his client despite the prohibition against so acting

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Rosendo by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license and a warning that similar conduct in the future would be dealt with more severely.

As we speak (ca. July 2021), Gerry practices his brand of law in San Fabian Pangasinan, Philippines.
