Attorney Rustico Gagate of Philippines; dimwit, slacker  

The Philippine Supreme Court provided Rustico B. Gagate with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Law.

The Committee on Bar Discipline found Rustico guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide competent representation (dimwit)
• Abandoned his client’s cause of action

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Rustico by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license and issued a warning that similar conduct in the future would be dealt with more severely.

As we speak (ca. July 2021), Rustico practices his brand of law in Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines.
