Attorney Michael Driver of Houston; cheating loser

The state of Texas presented Michael Driver with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from South Texas University School of Law.

The District 4 Grievance Committee found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to abide by his client’s decisions concerning the objectives and general methods of representation
  • Failed to promptly deliver to his client funds that she was entitled to receive
  • Failed to promptly render a full accounting regarding client funds
  • Failed upon termination of representation to refund advance payments of fees that had not been earned (cheater)
  • Ordered to pay $4,000 in restitution to former client [victim]

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license, and ordered to pay $1,000 regarding ethics investigative costs.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Mikey.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Mikey practices his so-called brand of law at 2310 Blodgett Drive in Houston, Texas.
