Attorney Blake Allred of Bayou Vista, TX; ethical ogre

The state of Texas presented Blake Daniel Allred with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from South Texas University School of Law.

The District 4 Grievance Committee found Blake guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Neglected legal matters entrusted to him
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to promptly comply with client information requests
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Blake!)
  • Ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution to former client (victim)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Blake by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license and ordered him to pay $2,960 regarding ethics investigative costs.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Blake.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Blake practices his so-called brand of law at 202 Barracuda Street in Bayou Vista, Texas.
