Judge Michael Miller of Newark, NY; convicted of criminal contempt

The state of New York provided Michael Ralph Miller with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Western New England University School of Law.

The New York Commission on Judicial Conduct found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Charged with criminal contempt in the first degree felony
  • Charged with stalking in the fourth degree
  • Violated a stay-away court order of protection held by a former girlfriend
  • Pled guilty to criminal contempt in the second degree in satisfaction of first-degree contempt and fourth-degree stalking charges

Mikey the Scofflaw was sentenced to three years of probation, a five-year, no-contact final order of protection for his former girlfriend, and a requirement that he attend domestic violence counseling.

Rather await punishment that would likely have caused his removal from the bench, Mikey took the cowards way out and resigned his positions as a Justice of both the Arcadia Town Court and the Newark Village Court, in Wayne County on or about April 16, 2021.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Tommy practices his so-called brand of law at 211 West Avenue in Newark, New York.
