Judge Ray Dean Linder of Alva, OK; Arrogant Judge Roy Bean Wannabee

FYI: Judge Roy Bean was an infamous saloon-keeper and Justice of the Peace in Val Verde County, Texas, who called himself “The Law West of the Pecos.” Judge Bean was also affectionately referred to as “The Hanging Judge.”

Unfortunately for the good folks living in the Enid, Oklahoma area, Ray Dean Linder sits as a District Court Judge.

On May 17, 2012, felony perjury charges were filed against attorney Eric Edwards in Major County. Luckily for Mr. Edwards, the case was assigned to Judge Linder, one of Oklahoma’s most respected apologists for Attorney Misfits

When the Dishonorable Judge Linder was asked to explain the legal reasoning for sealing public records that the U.S. Supreme Court has consistently said are open to public viewing, Ray said, “Because I am the district judge, and it will remain sealed until I say it shouldn’t be sealed.” (Enid News

Arrogant Ray went on to defend his unconstitutional conduct by saying:

“Because in my unprofessional, I’m sorry I mean professional opinion it deserved to be sealed.”
“My personal opinion, my professional opinion, my 50 years of experience as an attorney.”

Of course there is no record of his Dishonor ever sealing the records when a non-attorney commoner is charged with a felony. One could only imagine how Ray would act if a fellow jurist was charged with a crime and his case came before him.

Obviously, Arrogant Ray doesn’t believe what’s good for the goose (that’d be the folks that pay his undeserved salary) are entitled to the same record sealing benefits he cheerfully provides to Attorney Misfits.

Arrogant Ray is just another example of an arrogant Judge Roy Bean Wannabee running amuck throughout the country. Trust me, Arrogant Ray has many, many black-robed losers who actually believe that their “bowel movements are without odor.”

Hopefully the voters send Arrogant Ray packing if and when he decides to run for re-election.
