The state of Iowa provided Jason Arthur Springer with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from Drake University School of Law.
The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Jason guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Convicted by a jury of seven (7) counts of bank fraud

Convicted of knowingly executing a scheme to defraud a financial institution

False documents prepared by Jason in the course of real estate transactions concealed from the lender that Jason’s Springer’s clients did not have sufficient funds to purchase the home. The documents further concealed that the clients used the proceeds from the second sale to finance the first sale

Failed to withdraw from representation when required to so act

Knowingly made false statement of material fact or law to a third person

Failed to disclose a material fact to a third person when disclosure is necessary to avoid assisting a criminal or fraudulent act

Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation

Assisted a client in conduct the Jason knew was criminal or fraudulent
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Jason by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. May 2021), Jason practices his brand of law with the Springer Law Firm at 148 West 2nd Street in Madrid, Iowa.
