Attorney John Gillis of Kansas City, MO; slacker, loser

The state of Missouri presented John Benton Gillis with a law license in 1998 after she graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law.

The Disciplinary Board found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to adequately communicate with client
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to promptly comply with client information requests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed $1,000 in costs. 

And lastly, as one would suspect, Johnny and his firm fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.johngilliskc.com. Apparently, they chose to conceal this relevant information for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool. 

As we speak (ca. September 2021), Johnny practices his so-called brand of law John B. Gillis Attorney at Law LC at 1100 Main Street in Kansas City, Missouri.
