Attorney Lindsey Scott of Louisville, KY; convicted of assault

The State of Kentucky presented Lindsey Scott with a license in 2002 after he graduated from the University of Texas School of Law.

The Kentucky Bar Association found Lindsey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Criminally convicted of attacking another lawyer James “J.R.” Moore with an aerosol can
  • Mr. Moore was peacefully eating breakfast in a courthouse conference room in July 2019 when Scott attacked him with a Lysol can
  • Mr. Moore required about a dozen staples for the cuts he suffered
  • Lindsey pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kentucky Supreme Court the punished Lindsey by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 180-day suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Kentucky Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Lindsey.

As we speak (ca. April 2021), Lindsey practices his brand of law at 2007 West Broadway in Louisville, Kentucky.
