Judge Mark DiVietro of Owasco, NY; potty mouth bully

In one matter, Judge DiVietro was being investigated for sending texts to his then-girlfriend that contained threats about an ex-girlfriend.

The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct alleged that Mark was guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Repeatedly sent text messages to his then girlfriend that contained threats about a former girlfriend
• Mark’s text messages were vulgar, crude, demeaning and/or featured extreme gender-based slurs and profanity
• After arraigning a defendant on two felony charges and one misdemeanor, Mark repeatedly engaged in
• ex parte communications about the case with the defendant and multiple other individuals
• During a defendant’s appearance in court, Mark gave the defendant personal advice about how to avoid having his firearms confiscated by law enforcement authorities

As one would suspect when dealing with a coward, Mark resigned his judgeship with the knowledge that he would likely have been booted off the bench.

As we speak (ca. July 2021), it is rumored that Mark has applied for a job as a greeter at the Walmart Supercenter Store located at 297 Grant Avenue in Auburn, New York.
