Solicitor Joseph Fahey of Ireland; ethical elf

The Law Society of Ireland provided Joseph Fahey with a solicitor’s license in 1993 after he graduated from graduated from Queen’s University School of Law in Belfast.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Joey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with an undertaking
  • Failed to respond to the society’s correspondence (Screw you, said Joey!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary censure and a fine of €350.00.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Joey practices his brand of law with Gearoid Geraghty & Co. at Society Street in Ballinsole, Falway, Ireland.
