Solicitor Niall O’Connor of Ireland; ethical elf

The Law Society of Ireland provided Niall O’Connor with a solicitor’s license in 2002 after he graduated from graduated from Queen’s University School of Law in Belfast.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Niall guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with an undertaking
  • Failed to respond to the society’s correspondence (Screw you, said Joey!)
  • Failed to ensure that there was furnished to the Society an accountant’s report
  • Through his conduct, showed disregard for his statutory obligations to comply with the Solicitors’ Accounts Regulations
  • showed disregard for the Society’s statutory obligations to monitor compliance with the Solicitors’ Accounts Regulations for the protection of clients and the public

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal punished Naill by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment and a fine of €500.00.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Niall practices his brand of law with Niall O’Connor & Co. at 38 Meath Street in Dublin, Ireland.
