Attorney Alexis Benjamin of Hollywood, FL; ethical troll

The state of Florida provided Alexis Trischa-Day Benjamin with a law license in 2007 after she graduated from Florida State University School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Alexis guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Neglected clients in two employment discrimination lawsuits and a garnishment case
• Failed to keep clients informed of status of matter
• There were procedural deficiencies, mistakes in pleadings prepared Alexis
• Missed deadlines for filing documents on behalf of her clients

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Alexis by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2021), Alexis practices her brand of law in Hollywood, Florida.
