Attorney Stuart Robinson of Williston, VT; ethical gremlin

The state of Vermont presented Stuart Jay Robinson with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from the University of Vermont School of Law.  Stu also received a license to practice law in Maryland in 1974.

The Vermont Professional Responsibility Board found Stu guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Made false statements to the Vermont Attorney General’s Office
  • Falsely accused Assistant Attorneys General Jon T. Alexander and Bartholomew Gengler of engaging in subornation of perjury and witness tampering
  • Made false statements to the Vermont Board of Medical Practice
  • Engaged in obstructing justice
  • Presented, participated in presenting, or threatened to present criminal charges in order to obtain an advantage in a civil matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Vermont Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Stu fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.StuartJayRobinsonlaw.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2021), Stu practices his brand of law with Stuart Jay Robinson Law at 27 Kettlepond Lane in Williston, Vermont.
