Attorney Lance Shader of Wilmington, VT; dimwitted loser

The state of Vermont presented Lance C. Shader with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Vermont School of Law.

The Vermont Professional Responsibility Board found Lance guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to maintain a record for each client for whom property was held
  • Failed to timely notice each client or person of all receipts and disbursements from accounts under his control
  • Endangered or encumbered money held in trust for a client or third person for purposes of carrying out the business of another client or person without the permission of the owner given after full disclosure of the circumstances
  • Failed to accurately record transactions involving significant dollar amounts
  • Failed to understand relevant conduct rules (dimwit)
  • Failed to timely reconcile all accounts he had control over

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Vermont Supreme Court punished Lance by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Lance fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.lanceshaderlaw.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2021), Lance practices his brand of law with Lance C. Shader PC at 6 South Main Street in Wilmington, Vermont.
