The state of Texas presented Deborah K.F. Bailey with a law license in 1984 after she graduated from South Texas University School of Law.

The District 5 Grievance Committee found Debbie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to timely refund an advance payment of a fee that had not been earned

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Debbie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs of $5 00.00.
