Attorney David Sibley of Gregory, TX; ethical goblin, repeat offender

The state of Texas presented David Sibley with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Texas School of Law.

The District 11 Grievance Committee found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Neglected client legal matters
• Failed to communicate with a client
• Failed to return client files upon termination

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Davey’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license and assessed investigative costs of $400.00.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Davey fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.davidsibley.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.
