Attorney Andrew Schriver of Medina, OH; ethical ogre

The state of Ohio presented Andrew Charles Schriver with a law license in 2017 after he graduated from Cleveland State University School of Law.

The Medina County Bar Association has charged Andy with engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to promptly comply with client information request
  • Failed to promptly deliver to his client all papers and property to which the client was entitled
  • Upon withdrawing failed to promptly refund any part of unearned fee
  • Client entitled to refund of $2,680 representing unearned fee
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Andy!)

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted to Andy by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. February 2021), Andy practices his brand of law with as an Assistant Medina County Public Defender at 120 West Washington Street in Medina, Ohio.
