Attorney Russell Buzzelli of Wadsworth, OH; dimwitted slacker

The state of Ohio presented Russell Anthony Buzzelli with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Akron School of Law.

FYI: The University of Akron is ranked as the 147th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Medina County Bar Association has charged Russ with engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to reasonably consult with the client about the means by which the client’s objectives
• are to be accomplished
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Solicited or engaged in sexual activity with a client
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to refund any pat of advance fee not earned upon withdrawal of representation
• Knowingly made a false statement of fact to a tribunal (Screw you, said Russ!)
• Failed to reasonable steps to ensure the conduct of underlings comported with Russ’s professional obligations
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Client entitled to refund of $6,500 representing unearned fee
• Another client entitled to refund of $5,775 representing unearned fee
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to promptly comply with client information request
• Failed to maintain a record of account funds
• Failed to provide competent representation (dimwit)

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted to Russ by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court.
