Attorney Kenneth Ording of Hampstead, NC; ethical gnome

The state of North Carolina presented Kenneth Gary Ording with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from St. John’s University School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Kenny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to not promptly deposit entrusted funds in his trust account
• Failed to adequately supervise one or more assistants to whom he delegated trust account duties
• Failed to conduct monthly and quarterly trust account reviews and reconciliations
• Improperly disbursed funds from his trust account for clients in excess of any funds held for those clients in the trust account
• Failed to promptly reimburse the resulting deficiencies to the trust account
• Improperly paid bank charges with entrusted funds
• Failed to promptly disburse entrusted funds, commingled his own funds with entrusted funds
• Did not always create and maintain client ledgers, and did not ensure client ledgers were accurate

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the North Carolina State Bar punished Kenny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

And lastly, as one would suspect, Kenny fails to disclose the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.penderattorney.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal said relevant facts from prospective clients to prevent limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2021), Kenny practices his brand of law with Blackburn & Ording at 712 Country Club Drive in Hampstead, North Carolina.
